I went through and rewatched every episode again and again… enough times to write it all down even! Bring this book home to anyone who is a fan of the show - you can have a party and do a table read!! Re-create the “Focus Group,” and tease Paul about how much he loves his Mother-in-law, or put up with Howie for a game of Charades where no one knows the answers. It’s Paul Bufano - duh, Paul Bufano - how hard is that?!
HOWIE: Alright, this guy ran with Thaddeus Finks. He was one of the Eight Balls in Mookie Kramer and the Eight Balls.
TIM: I don’t know. This doesn’t sound like anything.
HOWIE: He played the alto sax with the kink in it.
TIM: I don’t know.
LAURA: Not sure.
HOWIE: Really? Okay, pass. Okay, this one’s easy. He’s got the freak lips, he can hit the high C all night loooo-ong.
He was king of the tuk-tuk sound.
TIM: Is this another jazz guy?
HOWIE: Laura, you know this.
LAURA: I need another hint.
HOWIE: I told you this guy’s whole life story that night we had dinner. I took you to Chartreuse. It was the same dinner that you said you don’t like any PDA. I tried to give you those little kisses, and you said “no PDA.” Remember?
I criticized you for being addicted to your phone, and tried to make it up to you by buying you the entire dessert menu. [TO THE GROUP] And she didn’t even take a bite.
KAREN: Time.
