JULY 2021: Vampire Weekend, I Think You Should Leave, Faygo Firework, and more…

I’m starting to accumulate a healthy stock of awesome tee shirts. If you’re looking for something cool and unique, scope out my online shop.

MF DOOMDaft PunkHaimVulfpeckAndy Shauf, aaaaaannd to be officially announced later in this email, July’s offering - Vampire Weekend! All these designs are by Vernon at Bad Love Design.

Check out all my merch

I’m always putting together new stuff, and if you want to be the first to know about it - these emails are the place to be. If you’re reading this, you are probably already signed up to my email list (and I love you for that), if you wouldn’t mind, please help me spread the word - tell a friend!

What’s good?

First up, let’s talk Faygo!! I ordered some of their limited edition new flavor, Firework, but it is sold out everywhere. It was on their online pop shop for literally less than one day before they pulled it off. I got my order in though, and with any luck, I’ll have my cooler stocked up later this week. So… my featured flavor for July is Firework… although I don’t have any on-hand at the moment, the same rules apply - if you want to grab a Faygo when you come to pick up your order, just ask, and I’ll have one ready for you!

My buddy Jason Rodriguez has put together a practical guide to public speaking for everyone. His book is called ‘Speak Easier,’ and it’s an awesome, super casual take on how to be a better public speaker. Scope it out.

June was PRIDE month, and I printed enough gay stuff to make my head spin! I made a ton of stickers and other pieces for my pal, Dekaylee… their Etsy shop has lots of different stuff that you won’t see elsewhere, like these rainbow ‘queerdo’ stickers.

I am (once again) in the short-run CD printing business. If your band wants to order a few CDs, get at me. I can print jackets in-house, and I can turn them around in a hurry. Steve Leaf just released his new album ‘Twelve Songs’ and I did the design and print work for him.

Music to Print to: July 2021

This month I’m featuring a band that is probably my most-played artist of the last 10 years - Vampire Weekend. I heard that Ezra is a big Seinfeld fan, so I felt it appropriate to do a little mash up with this month’s cover design. Tee shirts available now, they won’t last long.

I hope you like this month’s offering - 3 hours of tunes to keep you pumping out productivity while your mind drifts off to the clouds.

  • New music from Foo Fighters, Steve Leaf, The Mountain Goats, Seth Bernard and more

  • Songs from TV - featuring music from In the HeightsVice Principals, and Bo Burnham’s INSIDE.

  • Some of my favorites from Vampire Weekend, and songs that inspired and were inspired by VW.

Trivia

As you may know, last month’s trivia was cancelled at the last minute. I’m super sorry about that, but that’s the way it goes sometimes. This month we’re digging in on Tim Robinson’s I Think You Should Leave!

In celebration of the release of the 2nd season (out on Netflix on July 6), we’ll be talking about all the unimportant details from season 1.

The winner will take home a hard cover transcription of all the sketches from season 1! There are super-fans that would literally kill for one of these books.

If you know one of these super fans (or if you are one) there are only spots for 10 teams, and it’s FREE - sign up now!

What now?

Real talk, this month is going to be pretty relaxed. I’m going to finally get that drawing party together, I’m finishing up all my 2022 calendars, I just released 2 new Guess Who games - Schitt’s Creek and ‘90s Music, and if all goes well, we’ll see about having another concert in the shop later in the month!

Take care of yourselves,

Bill
