FEBRUARY 2021: Postcards, Haim, Red Pop, Rom-Coms, and more…
So Far, So Good
We’re moving into 2021, and it feels good, right!? This month I’m thinking a lot about work/life balance. It can be tricky, but it doesn’t have to be. There are a lot of unique road blocks when trying to manage that balance as a solo business owner - there is always so much to do, and there are only so many hours in a day. As I’ve gotten older (I’ll be 40 this year!), I’ve learned that working an 80-hour week is not something that is worth bragging about, at least not in my line of business. I don’t get paid overtime pay, and with my 2 hands - I can literally only do so much. You’re more likely to hear me going on about only working a 30 hour week - now THAT’s a success!!
Here’s me with Teddy - spending some much-needed quality time with this little guy is something that recharges my batteries and keeps me in the zone.

No news is good news; that’s what they say anyway. I’m sure that right now some high-up exec at Faygo is bringing a photo of me a board meeting…
“Boss, have you seen this? We’d be crazy not to send this guy a fridge!”

Congrats to January’s winners - WHY DOES RACHEL REFUSE TO WATCH MY COUSIN VINNY. We looked back on 2020, and realized that it wasn’t that great of a year after all… most of us forgot who won the Super Bowl or a Grammy Award. Now we can officially clear all that space in our memories and make room for everything there is to know about this month’s theme - ROM-COMs!
